Courses
There are 2 separate courses available below. Each course is delivered by zoom, and a course link will be sent out after payment. It is ok to pay for several attendees, but only have one person logged in and the viewing system shared among several viewers in the same location. As long as attendees are paid, and registered, CE credit can be awarded.
Each course is a $50 fee per person, per course. Accreditation is provided through Akron Dental Society.
Regulatory Compliance, OSHA Training and
the Ohio Dental Office

This presentation will update dental offices to current regulatory compliance issues, including the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and its application in Ohio dental offices, while also providing guidance on staying complaint in practical and cost effective ways.
Bio: Christopher A. Moore, ODA Director of Dental Services
Chris Moore currently serves as director of dental services for the Ohio Dental Association. He is now in his 38th year of service to the ODA and currently administers the association’s third-party payer, peer review, dental practice and regulatory compliance programs. Chris is an Honorary Fellow of the International College of Dentists USA Section for his contributions to the promotion of the dental profession. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Arts degree from Kent State University.
Dental Radiography Review

The review will dive into changes and new
technology for dental professionals, in addition to reviewing the essential concepts of dental radiology.
Bio: Sheri L. Sauer, AA, EFDA, CDA, CDIPC, RDA, CODA.
She has a State of Ohio Department of Education Professional teaching license in Dental Assisting and has taught at The Eastland Career Center for over 34 years. Sheri authored the Columbus Dental Society 7-Hour Dental Assisting Radiology Course book and teaches Nitrous Oxide Sedation monitoring, X-ray 2 hour review and OSHA compliance and bloodborne pathogens for Columbus Dental Society.
